Hardwater conditions have arrived on Green Bay and Sturgeon bay. We’ve begun rolling out some of our new, deluxe ice houses. The first whitefish of the season have been put on the ice. The 2018 ice fishing season in Door County is now underway!

We are excited to report that our new ice houses are now complete. We’ve been working incredibly hard on brand new, comfortable ice house for our ice fishing guests. We began moving the new houses onto the ice this week. And within the first 15 minutes of fishing, we already had whitefish on the ice.

With new houses, brand new ice fishing equipment and great fishing conditions, it’s hard not to be excited about a great season ahead of us. If you’ve never experienced ice fishing for whitefish in Wisconsin, this is something you’ve gotta try! Whitefish provide fast-action fishing, they put up a great fight, they’re plentiful and they are excellent eating.

Here at Nick Nault’s guide service, we provide fully guided whitefish ice fishing trips, as well as guided walleye and whitefish combination trips. Additionally, we offer ice house rental. Our trips all take place in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin on the frozen waters of Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay.

If you’d like to know more about our ice fishing trips, please read the information on our Ice Fishing Page. For specific availability or details about the experience, please don’t hesitate to call Nick at 920-839-2272 or send us a message.

We look forward to seeing many of you here throughout the season. Until then, happy fishing in 2018!
