Spring Fishing for Trophy Walleye and Big Brown Trout
March 5, 2018

Ice fishing season continue to be a blast here in Door County, Wisconsin. We’re having a great time with our ice fishing clients, catching good numbers of nice whitefish.

While the whitefish action is awesome, we can’t help but start thinking about spring trips, which are a little more than six weeks away! Before we know it, we’ll be running soft-water trips on Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay for big brown trout and walleye. Then in May, we’ll be focused heavily on the outstanding smallmouth bass fishing!

Of course the exact transition from ice fishing season to our boat trips is largely weather dependent. But you can be sure that by April, we will be on the boat chasing after giant brown trout and trophy walleyes.

If you’d like to reserve a guided trip later this spring, be sure and call Nick early to book your dates. You can reach Nick at (920) 839-2272 or contact us online.

In the meantime, there’s still time to enjoy some of the area’s outstanding ice fishing! Conditions here in Door County have been excellent. Call Nick ASAP for remaining dates during the 2018 ice fishing season: (920) 839-2272.
